Art lovers and creatives from across Victoria and beyond are invited to the annual Bendigo Community Bank Pyrenees Art Exhibition, one of the region's premier cultural events. Held in the historic Beaufort Town Hall over the King's Birthday long weekend, this popular exhibition showcases outstanding work from both local and interstate artists.

Explore a diverse collection of artworks including oil paintings, watercolours, acrylics, pastels, mixed media and photography. Whether you're an art enthusiast, collector, or simply seeking a unique weekend experience, there's something for everyone.

Presented by the Pyrenees Arts Council in partnership with the Rotary Club of Beaufort, this is the region's largest art exhibition and a highlight of the local events calendar.

Entry includes a delicious Devonshire Tea, freshly prepared and served by the Beaufort Girl Guides.

Opening Night on Friday offers the first opportunity to view the exhibition, hear the announcement of prize winners, and enjoy a light supper prepared by the Beaufort CWA. Bookings are essential via phone or email.

Make a weekend of it in Beaufort—visit the Beaufort Art Trax Gallery and browse the Rotary Club of Beaufort Second-Hand Book Sale at the Beaufort RSL Hall.

Acknowledgement of Country

Across Victoria’s Midwest, we acknowledge that we travel across the ancient landscapes of many First Peoples communities. These lands have been nurtured and cared for over tens of thousands of years and we respect the work of Traditional Custodians for their ongoing care and protection.

We recognise the past injustices against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in this country. As our knowledge grows, we hope that we can learn from their resilience and creativity that has guided them for over 60,000 years. As we invite people to visit and explore Victoria’s Midwest, we ask that alongside us, you also grow to respect the stories, living culture and connection to Country of the Ancestors and Elders of our First Peoples.
